Logbook : of the City of Richmond (Steamboat), York River Line, 1935 August 2 - 1936 August 20.

The City of Richmond was on the West Point, Va. to Baltimore, Md. run when this logbook was written. This logbook contains information on the City of Richmond's travel time, weather conditions, amount of cargo, number of passengers, number of meals furnished, and the total amount of money collected (on preprinted form pages). It also contains information on when fire and boat drills were performed. Captain E.F. Daugherty signed each daily entry.

The City of Richmond traveled from Norfolk, Va. to Baltimore, Md. and back. The steamboat ran on the Old Bay Line (chartered in Maryland in 1939 as part of the Baltimore Steam Packet Company) from 1913 until 1962 when the company ceased operations.
